Panoramic views 3BR Cairns City Apartment

Fabulous apartment. Very clean and modern. Would definitely recommend. Positive: Modern, immaculate condition. Negative: Nothing

Positive: The location was brilliant, and being set back from the Esplanade it was a little quieter. It's a short distance to everything within Cairns, and the apartment itself is beautiful. There were easy to understand instructions for how to get in, and security was great. The apartment was temperature controlled for us upon our arrival, and there were plenty of fans and air conditioners available; the hosts had laid things carefully 4-Hour arrival and to a communicative throughout. A brilliant addition is the washing machine and dryer, making this apartment awesome for families or people who want to pack light and only have carry-on luggage. The apartment itself was very quiet, we heard nobody in the surrounding apartments and saw no other persons within the building as we came up and down the lift. Negative: The standard of cleanliness within the apartment was poor in the areas where previous guests have been asked to tidy. We had to take all of the dishes out of the cupboards to rewash them in the dishwasher prior to being able to use them as they had old food and in some cases, mouldy patches in the drinking glasses. The table placemats were dirty and had food encrusted to them, and the oven trays were dirty and there were no tongs. I understand these are errors made by previous guests, but still feel this should be monitored more closely. The apartment itself was clean with the single exception of the soap dish in the ensuite bathroom being crusted with old caked soap. I'm not sure why guests are required to wash, clean and pack away all dishes upon leaving, as well as taking the rubbish out. This feels as though I'm cleaning the apartment myself, and is not what you pay for.

Generous space and magnificent views. Positive: A beautiful ocean-view apartment with expansive, open views — spacious and absolutely fantastic!
