Luxury 1BR Apartment @ Harbour Lights Cairns

Excellent location. Lovely well stocked one bedroom apartment. Positive: Well stocked kitchen. We love the balcony table and barstools. Negative: The living room needs a coffee table

GOod base in cairns Positive: the apartment is as in the photos, beautiful and functional, it has everything you need. it is located right on the pier where there are many restaurants and where the boat excursions depart from. there was only a small mix-up but the owner immediately took action to resolve it, we appreciated it. we are satisfied I recommend it.

Very poor start but apartment fine Positive: The apartment was fine in a good location and had all the items that you would expect from a 4 star rating. It provided full clothes washings and drying machines which was helpful for us as were visiting various locations in Australia. Negative: Our problems were with communications and key pickup, which really spoilt that start of our stay in Cairns. I had a problem with my internet provider locking me out, so I phone the local number contact number and spoke to a lady to advise them of a new email address they could send details to and to confirm my Australian mobile phone number. Also to advise them that we would be arriving around 12.00 local time. They did send confirmation f the change to the new email address.We were supposed to receive arrival and key pick up details 48 hours before arrival, and in the end I had to text the day before requesting details. I received back pictures of key pickup shop, address of apartments and picture of corridor leading to apartment. The taxi from the airport found the key shop and on checking we could only pick up at 3.00pm. I asked if there was any ware to sit and advised we could sit under local tree for shade. After finally picking up keys some 3 hours later and confirming where the apartments were. We found out that the complex had a ground floor reception area with seats, toilet facilities and A/C where we could have waited. This linked to front restaurants where we could of had drinks. Basically this information on the ground floor facilities could have been advised to us when we booked the holiday and would be helpful for any arrivals. On return to UK and sorting out my emails, I found that some information had been sent to the old email address not the revised one advised. There was not mention of the available ground floor reception area.
