Cairns City Studio Apartment Ocean view 12th Floor

Falsely advertised! This is NOT a studio apartment! It’s a hotel room with no services provided! Positive: The view was good Negative: It was falsely advertised as a studio apartment but it was only a small hotel room . No microwave, no toaster , no table or chairs, no large dinner plates & only 1 glass . No clean towels were offered during our 6 night stay .

Middle of the road. Hotel room, not an Apartment. Positive: Location was great! Negative: The room smelt like black mould spores! Made me very sick. It's a motel room only. Misleading advertising stating it's an apartment and a studio. No face washers. No shower mat for the overflowing water. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, short showers to prevent water overflow, and the anxiety of the alarm going off due to the steam. No table and chairs in the room. So, you're forced to sit on the balcony, which is not ideal in high summer temperatures. The tissues box had 2 tissues left; it was basically not refilled. No map was supplied of the complex. It took two messages to get the street name to turn off for undercover parking. There is no phone in the room to connect to reception. Continuous booking.com messages. A hidden cleaning fee of $ 150.00 was added at payment. Mice poo was found around the bin the next day. I have photos. Yuk! Picking up hotel keys from a fkn supermarket!! If the host replies to this feedback, I wouldn't believe it. The room SMELLS like mould, it stinks. Location was great and the convenience.

Great Cairns Rental Positive: Very comfortable, air conditioning excellent. Quality pillows and bedding and good towels. Negative: No particular concerns.

Beautiful stay 😊 Positive: This apartment was in a really good location with great city and ocean views. Comfortable bed and air conditioned room upon check-in. Thai massage downstairs of tower 3 were also really accommodating and the massage was 5-star. Negative: Only thing I didn’t like was the shower drainage as the water would fill up quickly and was close to overflowing. I did turn the pressure down though and had quick showers to make sure it didn’t overflow.

Beautiful Views , great location, great pool. Overall we had an awesome time in Cairns. Positive: Maps didn't locate the exact location, however was easy enough. Negative: It advertises a apartment, its really a hotel room. Shower was a little grubby.
